TNR & Spay/Neuter Resources
Right Fit Rescue does not provide spay/neuter or TNR surgeries. This page exists to help you understand your options and connect with low-cost clinics, voucher programs, and practical guidance.
What TNR Is
Trap–Neuter–Return (TNR) is a method used for community cats that are not socialized for indoor homes. It focuses on population stabilization and basic health, not adoption.
Trap
Cats are humanely trapped using appropriate equipment and handled according to clinic requirements.
Neuter
Cats are spayed or neutered and typically receive a rabies vaccination. An ear-tip is used to indicate the cat has already been fixed.
Return
After a short recovery period, cats are returned to their original outdoor location where they are already familiar with the environment.

When This Page Isn’t the Right Fit
This page is for navigating spay/neuter and TNR options. If your situation involves injury, immediate danger, or a different need, use the guidance below.
Injured or in immediate distress
Seek emergency veterinary care or contact local animal services right away. Online resources are not a substitute for urgent treatment.
Owned pets needing treatment
