Refund and Return Policy
This Refund and Return Policy explains how Right Fit Rescue handles donations, other payments, and returns of adopted animals. As a nonprofit rescue organization, funds received are used to support the care, medical needs, and placement of animals.
Returns of Adopted Animals
If you are unable to keep an adopted animal, you agree to contact Right Fit Rescue as soon as possible.
We do not issue refunds for returned animals. However, we will work with you to ensure the animal’s safety and well-being and to determine the best next steps.
Animals may not be rehomed, surrendered to another organization, or transferred without prior approval from Right Fit Rescue.
Donations
Donations made to Right Fit Rescue are non-refundable.
Donations are considered charitable contributions and are used to support rescue operations, including medical care, food, supplies, TNR efforts, and emergency needs. Once a donation is processed, it cannot be returned.
If a donation was made in error or there is a processing issue, please contact us promptly so we can review the situation.
Supply Donations
Physical donations (such as food, supplies, or equipment) are accepted as-is and cannot be returned.
Please contact us before dropping off supplies to ensure we are able to accept and properly store the items.
Event Fees and Fundraisers
Fees paid for events, fundraisers, or special programs are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise stated for a specific event.
If an event is canceled by Right Fit Rescue, we will provide information regarding refunds or alternative options when applicable.
Payment Processing Issues
If you believe a payment was processed incorrectly or in error, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review the issue and work with our payment processor to resolve it when appropriate.
Policy Changes
